Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Fullerton with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Dry Dock Fish Co at (714) 879-6067; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is drydockfish.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 228 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded seafood markets in Fullerton.

Fullerton is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Fullerton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We love Dry Dock. They always have a great selection of fresh and frozen fish. We love their shrimp and they have the best crab. The prices are fair. It is a super fun place to go. You will love it. The service is wonderful. They know all about what they have and what is fresh and sometimes just caught. They have great rockfish and their oysters are super good. The whole area is just pretty and you will be comfortable. It is never too crowded and they won't run out of the best fish. We take it home and eat some than and freeze the rest. DO NOT freeze the oysters. The shrimp can easily be frozen as can the crab. Parking is not bad. You will find a spot. They have sushi grade fish. Just ask them which is which and they will let you know.

Recommend this place to anyone looking for FRESH Fish and Seafood! Have been looking for a very long time and tried many different places in Orange County and by far this is the best. Customer service is terrific, they're very friendly answering all your questions and giving great recommendations without ever being pushy. There is no fishy smell to this shop, which certainly can't be said about many in the county. The store is very clean and we'll organized, ALL the seafood looked fresh. Most importantly their prices are very fair. There is no price gouging here !! Will definitely be going back. Will even go ao far as to say, this is what any type of shop should strive to be, they check all the boxes with products, service, price and great attitude from every employee there.

Dry Dock is amazing. Fresh fish daily. Most of it is wild caught. They also offer local delivery during the week. They have amazing fresh mussels. Sometimes they have the New Zealand Greens. So amazing. It's a small place so it's.easy to miss but the quality is superb!

My girlfriend and I found these guys at our local Farmers market and totally fell in love. They have honest assessments of their fish -- whether it's sushi grade or requiring cooking. They also have excellent prices, especially considering the freshness, quality, and availability of their fish. We especially love their oysters. They seem to be less briny than most of the oysters that we can find out here, and they're usually super meaty. That might just be the season we've been buying them in, but dang, they're sweet. Literally sweet. We've also had their pre-seasoned fish mix with ahi, bass, swordfish, and some other things. Stir fried it with broccoli and pasta and it was a super delicious and fast meal. Their salmon is unparalleled and when they have pre-cut sushi grade collar meat available, it should not be missed! The photos are a couple things we threw together with their wares. Our fake poke bowl and those oysters.
